Danielle,

First of all, I need to thank you, girl. I know you are on the last leg of the trip, and it’s probably been exhausting. But I really appreciate that you did all of this for me, seriously. You have no idea what it means to me that I have a friend as great as you to rely on.

I hope you’ve been having fun. I wouldn’t have asked you to do this if I didn’t think you and Natalie would get along swimmingly. I hope my instincts were right.

But whether they were or they weren’t, I’m going to have you spend some time with Natalie today. I want you guys to really know each other by the end of this trip, and, since the end is coming up, this is my way of forcing you two on each other, if you haven’t already gotten to know each other.

On the back of this letter are a bunch of questions I want you guys to ask each other while you sit by the lake. You know, just questions to get to know each other. Some are casual, some less so. But have fun with it.
